<h2>Patrick Boyce</h2>
<h3>Director</h3>
<p>Mr. Boyce is a Partner, Chief Operating Officer, and the leader of the Private Equity Strategy and Operations Team at <a href="http://www.hcmlp.com/" target="_blank">Highland Capital Management, L.P</a>., one of the largest and most experienced global alternative credit managers. Prior to his current role, Mr. Boyce served as the firm’s Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer, and began his career at Highland in the investment and portfolio advisory group where he was a Distressed Portfolio Manager. Prior to joining Highland, he worked as a Vice President for Citigroup Global Markets in its Global Investment Banking group and was a founding member of its Dallas office. Before joining Citigroup, Mr. Boyce was an Investment Banking professional for Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette where he had corporate finance responsibilities in both the Los Angeles and Dallas offices. Mr. Boyce primarily focused on leveraged finance, M&A and equity transactions for financial sponsor clients during his investment banking career. <br />
<br />
Mr. Boyce currently serves on the Board of Directors of American HomePatient (as Chairman) and Cornerstone Healthcare Group. </p>
<p>Mr. Boyce has an MBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BBA in Finance from Baylor University where he was a Teagle Scholar and a member of the men’s NCAA golf team. In addition, Mr. Boyce has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and he is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.</p>
<h2><strong>Barry </strong><strong>R. Frankel </strong> </h2>
<h3>Director </h3>
<p>Mr. Frankel is a Managing Director at <a href="http://frankel-group.com/" target="_blank">Frankel Group LLC</a>, a management consulting firm that provides strategic and transactional advisory services to the global life sciences industry and growth equity/banking firms servicing the industry. Prior to founding Frankel Group LLC in 1993, Mr. Frankel was President of SJ Weinstein Associates, a health care marketing strategy and communications firm. Before joining SJ Weinstein Associates, Mr. Frankel held various strategy and operating positions at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals and was a Senior Investment Research Officer for life science investments at Citibank. <br />
<br />
Mr. Frankel is also a director of Inspiration Biopharmaceuticals. In addition, Mr. Frankel is a member of the Pfizer Specialty Products Advisory Board and serves as an advisor to the Rutgers Center for Innovation and Emerging Technology (CIVET). <br />
<br />
Mr. Frankel holds an MBA, with Distinction, from The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania, and a BS, Summa Cum Laude, in Engineering from Rutgers University. </p>
<h2><strong>Leslie </strong><strong>D. Michelson </strong> </h2>
<h3>Director</h3>
<p>Mr. Michelson is Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of <a href="http://www.privatehealth.com/" target="_blank">Private Health Management, Inc.</a>, which provides a retainer-based service to coordinate the provision of their highest quality preventive, diagnostic, therapeutic and emergency care services for patients around the world. <br />
<br />
From 2002-2006 Mr. Michelson served as Chief Executive Officer of the Prostate Cancer Foundation, the world’s largest source of philanthropic support for prostate cancer research. Prior to joining the Prostate Cancer Foundation, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Acurian, a company which recruits patients and physicians for participation in clinical trials. He also co-founded and served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Value Health Sciences, one of the first disease management companies. He then co-founded and served as Chairman and co-Chief Executive Officer of Protocare, a provider of clinical trials site and disease management services to the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. <br />
<br />
Mr. Michelson served as Special Assistant to the General Counsel of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services during the Carter Administration. He then joined a private equity firm focused on healthcare and real estate investments. <br />
<br />
Mr. Michelson is also a director of several real estate investment trusts sponsored by American Realty Capital. Mr. Michelson is also a director of the Prostate Cancer Foundation and the ALS Therapy Development Institute, a non-profit research and development institute. <br />
<br />
Mr. Michelson received a BA from The Johns Hopkins University and a JD from Yale Law School. </p>
<h2><strong>Nelson K. Stacks</strong> </h2>
<h3>Executive Director</h3>
<p>Mr. Stacks is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Wave Guide Technology, a medical diagnostic company with the first-of-its kind hand-held Nuclear Magnetic Resonance machine to diagnose cancer and other disease states at point of care. Prior to that, Mr. Stacks was President and Chief Executive Officer of Vascular Pathways Incorporated, a medical device company focused on peripheral IV, where he raised capital from leading Venture Capital groups and brought the company through regulatory requirements and initiated manufacturing of high-volume, complex products. <br />
<br />
Mr. Stacks has also served as Board Chairman and Director at XBIO, and as a Director at Xenome Limited, and 3i Plc. From 2006-2008 he was Chief Executive Officer of Telesso Technologies. Mr. Stacks started his career as a Principal/Kauffman Fellow at Oak Partners. He has investor experience in all areas of Healthcare and Information Technology. <br />
<br />
Mr. Stacks received his BA from the University of Rochester and his MBA from the Franklin W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College. </p>
