<h1>Cellulosic Ethanol Licensing, Production and Distribution Systems</h1>
<p>For both biofuel producers and refinery operators, we are enabling the emerging cellulosic ethanol industry with multiple solutions offerings, including:</p>
<ul>
<li>Technology licensing</li>
<li>Selective partnership investment</li>
<li>Bioprocessing consumables and services </li>
</ul>
<p>Differentiated licensing models range from an integrated conversion process incorporating pretreatment, enzymatic saccharification, biocatalyst production and mixed sugar fermentation, to a total solution business model including biomass variety recommendations, agronomics, supply chain collaboration templates and solutions for feedstock supply.</p>
<p>These packages can be used both as a “bolt-on” to an existing ethanol plant—expanding its capacity to accept cellulosic feedstocks—or for a stand-alone cellulosic ethanol facility.</p>
<p>As a global company with operations in over 100 countries around the world, DuPont has been successful with many different business models—and can work with customers where they want to build facilities, creating lasting partnerships that deliver mutual value. </p>
<p>We will also operate enzyme production facilities globally to support the bioprocesssing consumables needs of our licensees.</p>
