<font face="Verdana" size="2">The Needham Transportation Committee was established by the Town of
Needham (By-laws Section 2.7.1) and has been charged with the
responsibility for "continuing studies of the mass transportation
needs of the Town, with particular emphasis upon commuter
transportation". In addition to responding to requests from the
Selectmen, the Needham Transportation Committee meets regularly to
provide an opportunity for members of the community to bring their
concerns before the Committee, and it has helped the Selectmen take
the Town's concerns to the MBTA as needed.</font></p>
