(DPW) is conducting an information meeting to further discuss the proposed road
improvement project in the section of Webster St., between Dedham Ave. &
Kingsbury St. The purpose of this meeting is to provide up-to-date information
and receive comments before a final recommendation is made to the Board of
Selectmen at their June 12, 2007 meeting.</font></span></p>

the Performance Center at Broadmeadow School from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on

for the full project was held on May 15, 2007 at the Pollard Middle School. A
subsequent meeting was held by neighbors at a neighborhood home on May 21,
2007. A Selectman and the DPW Director attending by invitation. The Town
Manager and the DPW Director reported to the full Board of Selectmen at their
scheduled meeting on May 22, 2007.</font></span></p>

<span style="font-family: Verdana"><font size="2">A Public Shade Tree Removal
Hearing has been scheduled for the Selectmen�s Meeting of June 12, 2007 to
discuss the removal of 4 live trees associated with the project. There is also
one unhealthy tree previously identified to be removed which does not require a
hearing. Any utility pole relocation hearings will follow as needed.</font></span></p>

<span style="font-family: Verdana"><font size="2">The project as it is presently
proposed involves the installation of granite curbing on both sides of the road
for the entire length; the milling of portions of the existing pavement and
placement of a leveling course of asphalt; the adjustment of utility castings
and repair or reconstruction of some drain catch basins and the placement of the
finish course of asphalt.</font></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin: 1px 5px">
<span style="font-family: Verdana"><font size="2"> </font></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin: 1px 5px">
<span style="font-family: Verdana"><font size="2">The pavement width proposed
will hold as closely as possible to existing width but not less than 26 feet
wide between Dedham Ave. and Great Plain Ave., and 28 feet between Great Plain
Ave. and Kingsbury St. Widening of the pavement by up to 3.2 feet will occur
primarily between Harris Ave. and Great Plain Ave. Minor sidewalk repair will
also occur.</font></span></p>
