<font face="Verdana" size="2">The Needham Park and Recreation
Commission will begin registration for Session THREE Swimming Lessons
on Wednesday, July 28, 2004 from 6-7 PM at the Town Hall for Needham
residents only. Numbers will be given out at 5:30 PM for place in
line. Registration will continue in the Park and Recreation Office
through Friday July 30, from 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM. Non-residents may
register from 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM on Friday, July 30, 2004 only.
Registrations will not be taken after 4:00 PM on July 30. All 3, 4,
and 5 year olds must have a birth certificate registered at the Park
and Recreation office in order for the registration to be valid.
Session Three will be held from Monday, August 2 -Friday, August 20,
2004. Classes are 25 minutes long and are held Monday through Friday.
The number of classes offered is based on the number of swim
instructors available. There is a $30 registration fee per child for
those that have current season pool passes; or a $60 fee for those
without current season pool passes. Children must be 3 or 4 years old
to be eligible for the Preschool Level. Four year olds with a Needham
Park and Recreation Preschool certificate may register for Level One.
