<font face="Verdana" size="2">The Town�s Permanent Public Building
Committee (PPBC) has made a request of the Park and Recreation Commission
related to the upcoming High School building and renovation project.
</font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 1 5"><font face="Verdana" size="2"> </font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 1 5"><font face="Verdana" size="2">In
order to maximize the use of funds for the High School project, the PPBC
has asked for permission to move <u>clean</u> fill from the High School
site to an area under Park and Recreation�s jurisdiction along Greendale
Avenue. The parcel under consideration is the former gravel pit, located
near the intersection of Route 128 and the MBTA railroad tracks. The
location of the parcel can be seen on the map printed on the back of this
invitation. The work at the High School will begin in late June, when
school is out of session for the summer. If the Commission approves the
PPBC request, the intent of the placement of the fill in the �gravel pit�
would be to restore the topological features to the site allowing for
better utilization of the land within this area. </font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 1 5"><font face="Verdana" size="2"> </font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 1 5"><font face="Verdana">
<font size="2">The purpose of this public meeting is for residents to
listen to a brief presentation; ask the Park and Recreation Commission
questions about the proposed project; and provide comments to the
Commission. All of the information gathered at this public meeting will
be included in the Commission�s deliberation and vote on this request, at
the Commission�s regular meeting during the week of April 19<sup>th</sup>.
