daily, and this message is updated <u>AFTER</u> 3:00 PM when
there is new information. No field may be used if there is
standing water, and no unauthorized maintenance work may be
done. Field decisions are final and may not be superseded by
other officials. If it starts raining after 3 PM, League
Officials will make the decision on whether fields will remain open or
not. On weekends and holidays, decisions are made by
League Officials. High School and Middle School athletic
decisions are made by the DPW and the High School Athletic
Director, and those decisions may differ from the community
decisions made later in the afternoon. </font></b></p>

attention of Park & Recreation that individuals not
employed by the Town of Needham have taken it upon themselves to move
bleachers. Please do not move bleachers from
one field to the next or from one location on a field to another. One of the reasons for decreasing
the amount of movement of the bleachers is that they are old, and
require a tremendous amount of labor to be set up properly.
Randomly moving bleachers without proper knowledge of their assembly
or without inspection by the DPW after assembly or movement
disregards the safety of the children and spectators that use this
equipment. The DPW has done an inspection of
the bleachers to make sure that no damage was done and that there is
no danger to anyone sitting on the bleachers.</font><!--mstheme--></font></td>
