<font face="Verdana" size="2"><b>FRIENDS</b> of the Needham Board of Health and
the Traveling Meals Program meets several times a year to discuss ways to
educate the community about the Health Department's services and activities.
They raise and obtain funds for various Health Department programs and
activities which are not fully funded or supported by federal, state, or local
governments or agencies. <b>FRIENDS</b> also recruits volunteers for the
Traveling Meals Program and other outreach efforts and coordinate the annual
Volunteer Recognition Party.</font></p>
