before. Adding life and enjoyment to our later years, and maintaining our
health is what most of us aspire to do. However, increasingly large
numbers of Americans are overweight, a condition that can affect our
health and quality of life. Being overweight limits our ability to
function freely and independently.</font></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" align="left" style="margin-top: 1; margin-bottom: 1">
<font face="Verdana" size="2">What does being overweight do? Overweight
and obesity contribute to coronary heart disease, stroke, hypertension,
osteoarthritis, Type II diabetes, some types of cancer, and depression.
Making small lifestyle changes through improved eating habits and
increased physical activity can result in a significant improvement in the
way you feel, and also will help to prevent or reduce the effects of
chronic disease.</font></p>

make which can help you to maintain a healthy weight and improve how you

high calorie snack with one additional serving of fruits or vegetables
each day. Try a variety of colors to get the most health benefits!
Choose vegetables with deep orange color (like carrots and sweet
potatoes) and dark green color (like spinach and broccoli).</font></span></li>

smaller portions: don�t finish everything on your plate, especially in

minutes of exercise at least five times a week. This can be broken into

your area. If there is no club available, they can help you to get one
