<P><B>V�STER�S - From the 30th of July to the 4th of August 2001 the Nordic Society of Campanology and Carillon (NSCK) had their 19th Nordic Bell Conference in V�ster�s. The conference included lessons, excursions and concerts. As something special the Norwegian Travelling Carillon from the Olsen Nauen Bell Foundry was played every day by different carillonneurs, which gave a lot of 'ordinary' people a very good impression of the carillon as a concert instrument.</B><P>
<P><FONT color="#FF0000"><B>CARILLONS IN SWEDEN</B></FONT><BR>In Sweden there are sixteen carillons with a baton keyboard. Unfortunately, most of them are covered with a thick layer of dust. In March 2001 teachers and students from the Scandinavian Carillon School visited some of them. As a result teachers and students from the school took part in Carillon festivals in Landskrona and Malm� during the summer of 2001.</P>
