The 2023 AAS/AIAA Astrodynamics Specialist Conference, hosted by the American Astronautical Society (AAS) and cohosted by <a href="http://www.aiaa.org" target="_blank" title="Opens a separate web site">American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA)</a> will be held August 13-17 in Big Sky, MT. The conference is organized by the AAS Space Flight Mechanics Committee and the AIAA Astrodynamics Technical Committee.

<h2>Abstract and Manuscript Submissions </h2>
<p>Abstracts are to be submitted through a web based abstract submittal system. Using the web based system, authors will submit their abstract, author information and preprint before the conference. Authors will also use this site to submit their final manuscript after the conference.

Attendees that register and need to cancel may get a full refund through the end of the Early registration period. During the Regular registration period, a 90% refund will be available. After the regular registration period ends, no refunds will be available. Please email the conference General Chairs with any refund requests.

We are changing our conference presentation format to accommodate a larger number of attendees and support the growth of our community. <br><br>

On <b>Sunday, Aug 13</b>, there will be a welcome reception from 6-8 PM with food and drinks at the conference hotel.

On <b>Monday, Aug 14</b>, we will have a reception 5:30-6:30pm that will include hot and cold appetizers and drinks. The Dirk Brouwer Award Plenary Talk and Award Ceremony follows from 6:30-8:00pm.

On <b>Tuesday, Aug 15</b>, we will hold the banquet at the resort's Vista Hall from 6:00-9:00pm.
This will be an exciting celebration of Montana's old west spirit, including dinner and dancing.
We're proud to bring on-site Montana's very own Western Root Country Dancing troupe.
This will feature a fun gala of old west country line dancing and country swing - including a lesson and guided dancing.
Bring your cowboy hat (or borrow one of our own) and comfortable shoes and enjoy the old west line dance.
