	We are pleased to inform you that your paper has been accepted for presentation at the AAS/AIAA Astrodynamics Specialist Conference in Girdwood, Alaska to be held August 16-19, 1999.  Please note the following:

1. Your paper presentation has been scheduled for the session indicated in the attached Session Summary.  Also included is the name of your Session Chair.

<p>

2. Please see the AAS website (<A HREF= "http://www.space-flight.org"> www.space-flight.org
</A>) and check for the Girdwood conference to obtain complete author information including a preliminary program.  Your assigned paper number will be listed on the preliminary program.  A set of instructions for the paper format, proceedings submission/publication instructions and a blank cover sheet will be available on the website May 1, 1999. Consider the site your primary source for author information.

3. Each presenter will be scheduled for a total of 20 minutes (nominally a 15 minute presentation and 5 minute discussion).  Please keep in mind that the time schedule is fixed so that attendees may move between sessions.

<p>

4. You must bring 50 copies of your paper with you to the meeting.  <b>Additionally, you must bring an original copy that will be used for the proceedings. </b> These preprints will be for sale in the paper room at the meeting.  In addition, a proceedings will be published after the meeting.  It is important that you bring these copies with you as there is a <u>"No paper-No podium" </u>rule that will be strictly followed.

5. Please note that publication in the proceedings is not considered an archival publication.  You are encouraged to submit your paper after the conference to one of the relevant journals such as:

6. You must send  a 50 - 100 word abstract of your paper to both of the conference technical chairmen <b><u>no later than 1 June.</u></b>  This will be published in the conference program and will help attendees ascertain their interest in attending your presentation.  This should be sent by email as embedded text or as a WORD format attachment.  We will acknowledge our receipt of the abstract.  As with the requirement for the paper, this abstract is a necessity.

7. Finally, please send a biographical sketch to the Session Chair <b><u>no later than 1 July</u></b> for use in making introductions.  There will be a Speaker's Breakfast each morning of the conference for all speakers presenting on that day.  It is requested that you attend this breakfast so that you can meet you Session Chair and coordinate any final presentation details.
