<h2> Abstract </h2>
This paper addresses the problem of developing an attitude dynamics module for a ground-based simulation of a communications satellite. To meet this requirement, par of a multi-body dynamics code written by the second author to model missile launcher dynamics has been used. The multi-body core of the previously developed program has been greatly improved and used to model the dynamics of Koreasat by treating it as a collection of rigid and flexible bodies. Representative models are included in a test simulation to validate the dynamics module. Results otained during the process of development will be presented.
