<h2> Abstract </h2>
The Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) Flight Dynamics Division (FDD) is pursuing the application of GPS technology to improve the accuracy and economy of spacecraft navigation. Thee FDD's current GPS navigation initiatives include (1) the GPS Enhanced orbit Determination Experiment (GEODE) for high accuracy autonomous navigation and (2) modular GPS navigation software engineering for space and ground applications. This paper discusses each of theses initiatives.
