<p align="justify">Dear Trauma Physician:<br><br>
Improving patient outcome following major hemorrhaging trauma is a noteworthy goal of our group. We propose to employ a mimimally invasive, indwelling physiological status monitoring biochip (PSM Biochip) with enabled biosensors and data fusion algorithms to serve as your adjunct to care. It would be of great help to us if you could spend a few minutes to give your expert opinion regarding the attached 100-entry <b>Sensible Fictitious Rationalized Patient (SFRP) Data Set</b> against your clinical experience for the hemorrhaging patient by:
Using the physiological status patient data provided (Columns 1-5) to give your expert opinion by assigning a <b>Hemorrhage Intensive Severity and Survivability (HISS) score</b> within the column (6) labeled – Doctor. The HISS score stratifies the criticality of the trauma patient as; low(0)(safe), guarded(1), elevated(2)(Resuscitate), high(3) and severe(4)(Surgical LSI or death) and may correspond to (0: No Shock; 1: Mild Shock; 2: Moderate Shock; 3: Severe Shock; 4: Imminent death) as shown in the excel pull-down menu for that particular avatar.
We are simultaneously collecting data from multiple physicians such as yourself. There are more than 100 participants. This expert opinion will be used to guide refinement of the PSM Biochip as well as the development of data fusion algorithms.
The PSM-Biochip (Physiological Status Monitoring Biochip) <a href="https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007%2Fs00216-010-4271-x" target="_blank" >(Paper) </a>is a minimally invasive penta-biomarker biosensor system which, when indwelling, continually measures lactate, glucose, pH(acidosis), potassium and oxygen. <a href="https://patents.google.com/patent/US20120088997A1/en" target="_blank" >(Patent) </a> <br>
