<p>The <code class="file docutils literal notranslate"><span class="pre">contrib</span></code> directory has contributed software that
uses the TIFF library or which is associated with the library
(typically glue and guidance for ports to non-UNIX platforms, or tools that
aren’t directly TIFF related).</p>
